The mesmerising dark green colour in the African Jasper stones and the infamous turquoise blue from the Turquoise stones created some really lovely layers of colour that gives a beautifully rustic and organic feel. The overall design is inspired by classical ancient Greek jewellery, and the mysterious dark African Jasper is dedicated to Persephone, the goddess of vegetations and the underworld.
African Jasper is an excellent stone for jewellery intended for frequent wear, though not as well known as turquoise, its characteristics are not unlike true turquoise.
