By visiting www.illumijewel.co.uk, you are accepting the practices described in our policies. When you shop with us on the website, these terms apply. They’re important for both of us as they set out what we expect from each other, and they also give you helpful information.

By continuing using this website, and any purchasing made on this website will bind you and Illumi Jewel in this agreement.

+ ONLINE ORDERS
Payment in whole, by credit/debit card or Paypal, is required before dispatch of goods.

Once payment has been received by us, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending a confirmation email to you at the email address you provide when you checked out.

All ILLUMI JEWEL pieces come with a warranty of 12 months. Unfortunately, our warranty does not cover the loss or theft of any pieces. We would advise you to contact your insurance/ home insurance to make a claim with them directly. We are happy to provide any proof of purchase information that you may need, to request this information please email us at contact@illumijewel.co.uk


+ QUALITY
All goods sold by ILLUMI JEWEL meet statutory requirements.

Please note that all items are handcrafted from natural materials and as such their composition and colour may vary slightly from the image shown, in particular natural gemstones which can have slight inclusions. There may also be minor variations in actual dimensions and specifications.


+ PHOTOGRAPHY
Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Other items may be represented at a larger than actual size in order to clearly show details or smaller than actual size in order to show the entire item.

Every effort has been made to illustrate colours accurately but this is not always possible with digital reproduction on different web browsing platforms. Hence, there can be no guarantee that the true colour of the jewellery will be exactly as shown.


+ CANCELLATION

By You:
In most circumstances, we can cancel your order straight away and give you a full refund if you successfully contact us before your item is dispatched (except for delivery charge if it has already been purchased). If your product has already been dispatched and is in transit, unfortunately, we cannot cancel the order or refund you until you have received the item, and carry out the Return & Refund process. By Us:

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and us if:
We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered,
or any safety reasons regards the pieces you have purchased.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within five working days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

 
+ PRICES
All of our prices are listed in Pounds Sterling and you will be invoiced in Pounds Sterling. If you are purchasing goods from outside the UK, currency fluctuations and credit card charges may affect the amount billed on your credit card.


+ SALE
During sale events, ILLUMI JEWEL has the right to set the price of their goods at a marked down price. A reduction in the price of an item after your purchase does not entitle you to a refund.
Promotional codes are not redeemable on marked down items and can only be applied to full price items on the site.

Please also note that if a promotional or sale discount was applied to your order, then the same discount will be applied if you require a return or exchange (please see the details at the link of our returns and exchange policy below). This means that you will only be refunded the amount that you originally paid for your order.

 
+ EXCHANGE
At ILLUMI JEWEL it is important for us to provide what our customers want as much as possible. If you bought an item and is not what you expected, or what you want, we will accept unworn and undamaged item in its original box and packaging, for exchanging to any item that is the same price. Unfortunately, currently we can only allow exchange for customers reside in UK.

If you would like to exchange for a more expensive item, you will be requested to pay the differences before we dispatch the new item and after we have received the item that you do not want anymore. If the piece you want to exchange for cheaper, we can only refund the sum of difference if more than £10.00. Exchange is only allowed for one item with one exchange per order.

For example, if you have purchased one necklace and one bracelet, you can only make an exchange for one of these item. Once an exchange is made, no more exchange for this order is allowed. i.e. You can not exchange the items you have just replaced, nor another item from the same order.

To initiate an exchange, you must follow the below instructions in order:

  1. 1/. Email us at contact@illumijewel.co.uk within 14 days of the date you purchased the item(s);

  2. State your reason why you need an exchange;

  3. Once we have accepted your request for an exchange, please wait for a postal slip that will be emailing to you. To successfully returning an item, customers are advised to pack the item back to all its original box and postal packaging, please tape the box to ensure the item(s) is/are safe and secure. You will then need to print out the postal slip, put it on the original packaging with the item for a courier to collect at an agreed time. We will request a date and time to collect at your convenience.

  4. Once the item is received back into our workshop and after we have checked the item is in the same condition as we sent out to you, we will notify you by email, and dispatch your new chosen item for the exchange by next day. And the exchanging process will be completed once the new item has reached you. Unfortunately, if we find the item is damaged and cannot be repaired, the exchange agreement will be automatically cancelled. Please note if the item is damaged during the transit while returning the item, ILLUMI JEWEL will claim for damage insurance on your behalf, and you will able to claim part of the cost of the item with the delivery charges deducted. It is then you have the choice to either fix the damaged item to be received back, or use the credits to put towards for a new order. Everything will be communicated through email as this could be kept as a record.

+ CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
ILLUMI JEWEL cannot guarantee that the sale and delivery of its goods to your particular country or location is permissible, so please be aware of your own geographic import restrictions. This site and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between ILLUMI JEWEL and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of products by ILLUMI JEWEL would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation.


+ LEGAL
Your use of this site and any contract between you and ILLUMI JEWEL for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable for these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

 

+ COPYRIGHTS
All materials including images, illustrations, designs, layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress and/or other intellectual property rights owned, controlled or licensed to ILLUMI JEWEL. The site as a whole is protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by ILLUMI JEWEL. The contents of the site and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the contents, the site, or any related software.

You’re allowed to store, print and display our Website content only for your own personal use. You are not allowed to use any part of the Website for commercial purposes unless you have our express permission.

You’re also not allowed to use the ILLUMI JEWEL logo (or any marks which are colourably similar) without our express permission.


+ LIABILITY
If you do not receive goods ordered by you within seven working days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by e-mail or telephone of the problem within 14 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.

If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered, or are damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by e-mail of the problem within seven working days of the delivery of the goods in question. If you notify us of a problem under this condition, our obligation to you will be either:

 * To make good any shortage or non-delivery; or
** To replace any goods that are damaged or defective; or
*** To refund to you the amount paid for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.

Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses howsoever arising out of any problem you notify us of under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question as stated above.

We cannot be held responsible for any delays once the goods have left us and are in possession of the courier or Royal Mail.

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any personal injury resulting from our negligence.
