METAPHYSICS PROPERTIES:
Labradorite is such a fascinated stone, it reflects colourful lights when looked at from certain perspective. The Canadian Natives who first discovered the stone, is said to contact the Northern Lights, they call it the Fire Stone, or the Fire Rock, and known as the Aurora Borealis. Although at some angles the stone seem quite dull and grey, but once you catch the spectacular flash, the whole perspective shifts and you can finally see the light within the darkness. The stone helps you adopt a similar perspective on life. Hence it is also known as a gemstone of transformation, and it is great for healing and promote positive emotions.
For such an amazing stone, we associated her with the Greek heroine Atalanta, though a mortal, but her legendary feat is none less than any other Greek heroes. Having grown up in the wilderness, she is known for her fierce independence, competitiveness and physical skills. She does not shy away from her abilities, and is not interested to fit into any conventional mould, and she's ready to stand her ground, defend her honour, values and is perfectly capable of doing so. Atalanta's name means "Un-swaying", and she's a woman who knows her own self worth.

The Labradorite we have sought for this collection are generally opaque to translucent, with some veining within the stones. Its colour varies depending where lights reflects but generally has a green-ish grey tone overall sometimes with black speckles.
